Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 73 — Kr̥ṣṇa’s Appraisal of Bhīma’s Altered Temper and Reaffirmation of Martial Resolve
असुराणां समृद्धानां ज्वलतामिव तेजसा । पर्यायकाले धर्मस्य प्राप्त कलिरजायत
asurāṇāṁ samṛddhānāṁ jvalatām iva tejasā | paryāyakāle dharmasya prāpte kalir ajāyata ||
ভীম বললেন— যেমন ঐশ্বর্যে সমৃদ্ধ, তেজে দগ্ধমান অসুরদের মধ্যে ধর্মের চক্র ঘুরে ক্ষয়ের সময় উপস্থিত হলে ভয়ংকর কলহ জেগে উঠেছিল, তেমনি যুগান্ত সন্নিকট হলে বহু রাজবংশে নীচ ও বংশবিনাশী ক্ষত্রিয়েরা প্রকাশ পেল।
