The verse highlights an ideal of righteous power: true strength remains unwavering in dharma and is guided by ānṛśaṃsya (compassion/non-cruelty). Kṛṣṇa’s coming is framed not as aggression but as an ethical intervention meant to restrain harm and uphold moral order.
Sañjaya describes Kṛṣṇa’s character and intention: Kṛṣṇa (Madhusūdana/Acyuta), steadfast in dharma, is about to arrive with the purpose of showing mercy to the Kauravas—contextually pointing to his role as a mediator seeking a just resolution before war.
