Adhyaya 60: Self-Assertion, Daiva, and the Rhetoric of Inevitability (उद्योग पर्व)
भयानकानि विषये व्यालादीनि न सन्ति मे । मन्त्रगुप्तानि भूतानि न हिंसन्ति भयंकरा:
bhayānakāni viṣaye vyālādīni na santi me | mantragoptāni bhūtāni na hiṃsanti bhayaṃkarāḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—আমার রাজ্যে সাপ প্রভৃতি ভয়ংকর ব্যালাদি প্রাণী নেই। আর ভয়ংকর সত্তা থাকলেও, মন্ত্রের দ্বারা সংযত ও রক্ষিত হওয়ায় তারা কারও অনিষ্ট করে না।
