यदिदं ते विलपितं पाण्डवान् प्रति भारत | अनीशेनेव राजेन्द्र सर्वमेतन्निरर्थकम्,राजेन्द्र! आपने जो पाण्डवोंके बल-पराक्रमकी चर्चा करके असमर्थकी भाँति विलाप किया है, यह सब व्यर्थ है
yad idaṁ te vilapitaṁ pāṇḍavān prati bhārata | anīśeneva rājendra sarvam etan nirarthakam ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—হে ভারত, হে রাজেন্দ্র, পাণ্ডবদের প্রতি অসহায়ের মতো তোমার এই বিলাপ—সবই নিরর্থক।
