Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
कुर्वन् रथान् विपुरुषान् विसारथिहयध्वजान् । आरुज न् पुरुषव्याप्रो रथिन: सादिनस्तथा
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
kurvan rathān vipuruṣān visārathihayadhvajān |
ārujan puruṣavyāpro rathinaḥ sādinastathā, sañjaya |
ধৃতরাষ্ট্র বললেন—হে সঞ্জয়! সেই পুরুষব্যাঘ্র ভীম যুদ্ধে পরিশ্রম করে রথগুলোকে যোদ্ধাশূন্য করে দেবে—সারথি, অশ্ব ও ধ্বজহীন; আর রথী ও অশ্বারোহীদের অঙ্গভঙ্গ করে তাদের শক্তি নিঃশেষ করবে। যেমন জলমগ্ন প্রদেশে গঙ্গার স্ফীত স্রোত তীরবর্তী নানা বৃক্ষ উপড়ে ধ্বংস করে, তেমনই ভীম রণভূমিতে প্রবেশ করে আমার পুত্রদের সেনাকে বিনাশ করবে।
