Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 34 — Vidura’s Counsel on Deliberation, Speech-Discipline, and Dharmic Kingship
श्रीमड्नलात् प्रभवति प्रागल्भ्यात् सम्प्रवर्धते । दाक्ष्यात् तु कुरुते मूलं संयमात् प्रतितिष्ठति
śrīmad-balāt prabhavati prāgalbhyāt sampravardhate | dākṣyāt tu kurute mūlaṃ saṃyamāt pratitiṣṭhati ||
বিদুর বলেন—শুভ কর্ম থেকে লক্ষ্মীর জন্ম; সাহসী উদ্যোগে তার বৃদ্ধি; দক্ষতায় সে শিকড় গাড়ে; আর সংযমে সে স্থির ও নিরাপদ থাকে।
