आप्लाव्य शुचय: सर्वे स्रग्विण: शुक्लवासस: । गृहीतशस्त्रा ध्वजिन: स्वस्ति वाच्य हुताग्नय:
āplāvya śucayaḥ sarve sragviṇaḥ śuklavāsasaḥ | gṛhītaśastrā dhvajinaḥ svasti vācya hutāgnayaḥ ||
স্নান করে শুচি হয়ে তারা সকলেই শ্বেতবস্ত্র পরিধান করল ও পুষ্পমালা ধারণ করল। ব্রাহ্মণদের দ্বারা স্বস্তিবাচন করিয়ে এবং অগ্নিতে আহুতি নিবেদন করে, ধ্বজা উঁচিয়ে অস্ত্রশস্ত্র হাতে নিয়ে তারা রণক্ষেত্রের দিকে অগ্রসর হল।
