ततोऊहं स्वयमुद्यम्य हयांस्तान् वातरंहस: । अयुध्यं जामदग्न्येन निवृत्तेडहनि भारत
tato ’haṁ svayam udyamya hayāṁs tān vātarāṁhasaḥ | ayudhyaṁ jāmadagnyena nivṛtte ’hani bhārata ||
হে ভারত! তারপর আমি নিজেই বায়ুবেগী সেই অশ্বদের সংযত করে জামদগ্ন্য পরশুরামের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধে প্রবৃত্ত হলাম। তখন দিন প্রায় অস্তমিত।
