भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
तेजोवधमिमं कुर्याद् विभेदयिषुराहवे । यथा त्वं गुणविद्वेषादपरागं चिकीर्षसि
tejovadham imaṁ kuryād vibhedayiṣur āhave | yathā tvaṁ guṇavidveṣād aparāgaṁ cikīrṣasi ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—যুদ্ধের মাঝখানে বিভেদ ঘটাতে চেয়ে কে নিজের পক্ষের যোদ্ধার তেজ নষ্ট করে? যেমন তুমি আমার গুণের প্রতি বিদ্বেষে রাজাদের আমাকে ত্যাগী করতে চাও, তেমনি যুদ্ধসময়ে—সমমর্যাদার উদার রাজারা সমবেত থাকতেই—তুমি ফাটল ধরাতে উদ্যত।
