भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
कुरूणामहितो नित्य न च राजावबुध्यते । को हि नाम समानेषु राजसूदारकर्मसु
kurūṇām ahito nityaṁ na ca rājāvabudhyate | ko hi nāma samāneṣu rājasūdārakarmasu ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—তুমি কৌরবদের সর্বদাই অকল্যাণ করছ, তবু রাজা তা বুঝতে পারছেন না। যুদ্ধের সময় উপস্থিত, সমমর্যাদার উদারচরিত রাজারা সমবেত; এমন কালে বিভেদ ঘটাতে চেয়ে নিজের পক্ষের যোদ্ধার তেজ ও উদ্যম কে-ই বা নষ্ট করে?
