Agni-hymn, discovery of Indra, and the Nahuṣa threat
एवं स्तुतो हव्यवाट् स भगवान् कविरुत्तम: । बृहस्पतिमथोवाच प्रीतिमान् वाक्यमुत्तमम् | दर्शयिष्यामि ते शक्रं सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते
evaṁ stuto havyavāṭ sa bhagavān kavir uttamaḥ | bṛhaspatim athovāca prītimān vākyam uttamam | darśayiṣyāmi te śakraṁ satyam etad bravīmi te ||
এভাবে স্তবিত হলে হব্যবাহন, শ্রেষ্ঠ ঋষিস্বরূপ ভগবান অগ্নিদেব প্রসন্ন হয়ে বৃহস্পতিকে এই উৎকৃষ্ট বাক্য বললেন— “হে ব্রাহ্মণ! আমি তোমাকে শক্র (ইন্দ্র)-এর দর্শন করাব; সত্যই তোমাকে এ কথা বলছি।”
