Sāma–Bheda–Daṇḍa
वदान्य: सत्यसंधश्च सर्वभूतहिते रत: । वर्तमान: पितु: शास्त्रे ब्राह्मणानां तथैव च,*वे उदार, सत्यप्रतिज्ञ और समस्त प्राणियोंके हितमें तत्पर रहनेवाले थे। पिता तथा ब्राह्मणोंके आदेशके अनुसार चलते थे
vadānyaḥ satyasaṃdhaś ca sarvabhūtahite rataḥ | vartamānaḥ pituḥ śāstre brāhmaṇānāṃ tathaiva ca ||
বায়ু বললেন—তিনি দানশীল, সত্যপ্রতিজ্ঞ এবং সকল প্রাণীর কল্যাণে নিবিষ্ট ছিলেন। তিনি পিতার নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী এবং তদ্রূপ ব্রাহ্মণদের শাস্ত্রবিধান মেনে চলতেন।
