Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
द्रोण उदाच अश्वत्थाम्नि यथा पुत्रे भूयो मम धनंजये । बहुमान: परो राजन् संनतिश्व कपिध्वजे
Droṇa uvāca—Aśvatthāmni yathā putre bhūyo mama Dhanañjaye; bahumānaḥ paro rājan, sannatiś ca Kapidhvaje.
দ্রোণ বললেন—রাজন! পুত্র অশ্বত্থামার প্রতি আমার যেমন স্নেহ, তার চেয়েও অধিক ধনঞ্জয় অর্জুনের প্রতি। কপিধ্বজ অর্জুনও আমার প্রতি গভীর বিনয় ও শ্রদ্ধা রাখে।
