भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
यदर्थ क्षत्रिया सूते तस्य कालोडयमागत: । न हि वैरं समासाद्य सीदन्ति पुरुषर्षभा:
yadartha kṣatriyā sūte tasya kālo ’yam āgataḥ | na hi vairaṃ samāsādya sīdanti puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
যে উদ্দেশ্যে ক্ষত্রিয়াণী পুত্র প্রসব করে, সেই উদ্দেশ্যেরই সময় এসে গেছে। শ্রেষ্ঠ পুরুষেরা বৈর গ্রহণ করলে মনোবল হারায় না; ধর্মসম্মত শত্রুতায় প্রবৃত্ত হয়ে তারা কখনও হতাশায় নিমজ্জিত হয় না।
