Educational Q&A

True renown is not claimed by words but earned through demonstrable excellence in rightful combat; such earned honor has an ethical and psychological force that humbles aggressors and breaks hostile arrogance.

The speaker describes a battlefield dynamic: once a warrior achieves conspicuous success and fame through superior fighting, the opposing side becomes demoralized and submits, symbolically ‘bowing’ before his prowess.
