अनुत्थानभये चोभे निरीहो नाश्षुते महत् । संतोष, दया, उद्योगशून्यता और भय--ये सम्पत्तिका नाश करनेवाले हैं। निश्चेष्ट मनुष्य कभी कोई महत्त्वपूर्ण पद नहीं पा सकता
anutthānabhaye cobhe nirīho nāśnute mahat |
বায়ু বললেন—যে নিষ্ক্রিয় এবং কর্মে উঠতে ভয় পায়, সে কোনো মহৎ ফল লাভ করে না। সন্তোষ যদি আত্মতুষ্টির অলসতায় পরিণত হয়, অনুচিত দয়া, উদ্যোগহীনতা ও ভয়—এগুলোই সমৃদ্ধি নষ্ট করে। যে চেষ্টা করে না, সে কখনও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে পৌঁছায় না।
