श्रोत्रियस्थेव ते राजन्‌ मन्दकस्याविपक्चित: । अनुवाकहता बुद्धिर्धर्ममेवैकमी क्षते

śrotriyastha iva te rājan mandakasya avipakvitaḥ | anuvākahatā buddhir dharmam evai kam īkṣate ||

রাজন! যেমন বেদের অর্থ না-জানা মন্দবুদ্ধি বেদপাঠীর বুদ্ধি কেবল অনুবাকের পুনরাবৃত্তিতে ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হয় এবং সে ধর্মকে শুধু মন্ত্রপাঠই মনে করে, তেমনি আপনার বুদ্ধিও কেবল শান্তিধর্মের দিকেই স্থির হয়ে আছে।
