त्रिवर्गयुक्त: प्राज्ञानामारम्भो भरतर्षभ । धर्मार्थावनुरुध्यन्ते त्रिवर्गासम्भवे नरा:
trivargayuktaḥ prājñānām ārambho bharatarṣabha | dharmārthāv anurudhyante trivargāsambhave narāḥ ||
হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! জ্ঞানীজনের সকল উদ্যোগ ধর্ম, অর্থ ও কাম—এই ত্রিবর্গের সঙ্গে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ। কিন্তু যখন তিনটির পূর্ণসিদ্ধি সম্ভব নয়, তখন বিচক্ষণ মানুষ ধর্ম ও অর্থকেই অনুসরণ করে।
