ययातिदौहित्रपुण्यसमुच्चयः | Yayāti and the Grandsons’ Consolidation of Merit
'ये आपको तार देंगे। दौहित्रोंके द्वारा मातामह (नाना)-का यह उद्धार पुरातन वेदशास्त्रमें स्पष्ट देखा गया है। राजन! मैं आपकी पुत्री माधवी हूँ और इस तपोवनमें मृगोंके समान जीवनचर्या बनाकर विचरती हूँ ।।
mayāpy upacito dharmas tato 'rthaṃ pratigṛhṇatām | yasmād rājan narāḥ sarve apatyaphalabhāginaḥ ||
আমিও ধর্ম সঞ্চয় করেছি; অতএব এই উদ্দেশ্যে তা গ্রহণ করুন। কারণ, হে রাজন, সকল মানুষই সন্তানের দ্বারা প্রাপ্ত ফলের অংশীদার।
