Nahuṣa Abhiṣeka and the Crisis of Restraint (नहुषाभिषेकः—दमभ्रंशः)

सतां संदृश्य दुष्टात्मा प्राह सर्वानू सभासद:

satāṁ saṁdṛśya duṣṭātmā prāha sarvānū sabhāsadaḥ | āgacchatu śacī mahāṁ kṣipram adya niveśanam ||

সজ্জনদের সভা দেখে দুষ্টাত্মা নহুষ সকল সভাসদকে বলল— “শচী আজই শীঘ্র আমার নিবাসে আসুক। ইন্দ্রের মহিষী দেবী কেন আমার সেবায় উপস্থিত হয় না? আমি দেবতাদের ইন্দ্র এবং সমগ্র লোকের অধীশ্বর; অতএব শচীদেবী অবিলম্বে আমার প্রাসাদে আসুক।”
