Suparṇa–Gālava Saṃvāda
अत्र देवीं दितिं सुप्तामात्मप्रसवधारिणीम् । विगर्भामकरोच्छक्रो यत्र जातो मरुद्गण:
atra devīṃ ditiṃ suptām ātma-prasava-dhāriṇīm | vigarbhām akaroc chakro yatra jāto marud-gaṇaḥ ||
এখানেই শক্র (ইন্দ্র) দেবী দিতিকে—যিনি নিজের সন্তান-বীজ ধারণ করছিলেন—নিদ্রিত অবস্থায় পেয়ে গর্ভে প্রবেশ করে ভ্রূণচ্ছেদ করলেন এবং তাঁকে ‘বিগর্ভা’ করলেন; সেই কর্ম থেকেই মরুদ্গণ জন্ম নিল।
