Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
ततः कथास्ते समवाययुक्ता: कृत्वा विचित्रा: पुरुषप्रवीरा: । तस्थुर्मुहूर्त परिचिन्तयन्तः कृष्णं नृपास्ते समुदीक्षमाणा:
tataḥ kathās te samavāyayuktāḥ kṛtvā vicitrāḥ puruṣapravīrāḥ | tasthur muhūrtaṃ paricintayantaḥ kṛṣṇaṃ nṛpās te samudīkṣamāṇāḥ ||
তারপর সেই পুরুষপ্রবরেরা সভার শিষ্টাচার অনুযায়ী নানা রকম কথা বললেন; অতঃপর কিছুক্ষণ নীরব হয়ে রইলেন। চিন্তামগ্ন হয়ে বসে থাকা সেই সকল রাজা শ্রীকৃষ্ণের দিকেই দৃষ্টি স্থির রাখলেন—যেন তাঁর বাক্য ও কর্মের অপেক্ষায়।
