भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत् सम्प्रदापयेत् । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्
bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—শ্রেষ্ঠ ব্রাহ্মণগণ ভোজন সমাপ্ত করলে তাঁদের যথাবিধি উপযুক্ত দান দিতে হবে। তারপর, হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ, বস্ত্র ও অলংকারে সুশোভিত কথাবাচককে সম্মান করে উৎকৃষ্ট অন্নে ভোজন করাতে হবে; অতঃপর দান-মান দিয়ে তাঁকে সন্তুষ্ট করাই বিধেয়।
