वाचको भरतमश्रेष्ठ व्यक्ताक्षरपदस्वर: | भविष्यं श्रावयेद्‌ विद्वान्‌ भारतं भरतर्षभ

Transliteration

vācako bharataśreṣṭha vyaktākṣarapadasvaraḥ | bhaviṣyaṃ śrāvayed vidvān bhārataṃ bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

হে ভরতশ্রেষ্ঠ! কথাবাচক বিদ্বান হোক এবং প্রতিটি অক্ষর, পদ ও স্বর স্পষ্ট করে ‘ভারত’ শ্রবণ করাক; হে ভরতকুল-শ্রেষ্ঠ! সে ভবিষ্যপর্বও (হরিবংশ-পরম্পরা অনুসারে) পাঠ করুক।
