वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्त: स कृष्णेन राजा राजीवलोचन: । हितार्थ सर्वलोकस्य समुत्तस्थौ महामना:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evam uktaḥ sa kṛṣṇena rājā rājīvalocanaḥ | hitārthaṁ sarvalokasya samuttiṣṭhau mahāmanāḥ ||
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—জনমেজয়! শ্রীকৃষ্ণের এমন বাক্য শুনে পদ্মনয়ন মহামনস্বী রাজা যুধিষ্ঠির সর্বলোকের কল্যাণার্থে উঠে দাঁড়ালেন।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A ruler should respond to wise counsel by taking up action aimed at the welfare of all, embodying dharma through public-spirited responsibility rather than private interest.
After Kṛṣṇa speaks, Yudhiṣṭhira—described as lotus-eyed and great-souled—stands up, signaling readiness to proceed with a course of action meant for the good of everyone.
