इति मां त्वं विजानीहि सर्वलोकस्य जाजले । सम॑ मतिमतां श्रेष्ठ समलोष्टाश्मकाञज्चनम्

হে জাজলি! আমাকে এভাবেই জেনো—আমি সকল জীবের প্রতি সমদৃষ্টি রাখি। হে জ্ঞানীদের শ্রেষ্ঠ! আমার কাছে মাটির ঢেলা, পাথর ও সোনা সমান।
तुलाधार उवाच
Tulādhāra defines true ethical steadiness as impartiality toward all and freedom from value-judgments based on material worth—treating earth, stone, and gold alike. This points to inner detachment and equal-mindedness as marks of genuine wisdom.
In the Tulādhāra–Jājali discourse of Śānti Parva, Tulādhāra addresses the ascetic Jājali and describes his own disposition: he claims an even attitude toward all people and a non-attached view of objects commonly prized or despised, illustrating the dharmic ideal of equanimity.
