Bali–Vāsava Dialogue on Kāla and Steadfastness
अभयं यस्य भूतेभ्य: सर्वेषामभयं यत: । नमस्य: सर्वभूतानां दान्तो भवति बुद्धिमान्
abhayaṁ yasya bhūtebhyaḥ sarveṣām abhayaṁ yataḥ | namasyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ dānto bhavati buddhimān ||
ভীষ্ম বললেন—যে সকল প্রাণীর প্রতি নির্ভয়, এবং যার কারণে সকল প্রাণীও নির্ভয়ে থাকে, সেই সংযমী ও জ্ঞানী পুরুষ সকল জীবের কাছে বন্দনীয়। সে বলপ্রয়োগে নয়, বরং চারদিকে নিরাপত্তার বোধ জাগিয়ে ধর্মকে প্রতিষ্ঠা করে।
