मयैवं चिन्तितं भूतमसिनमिष वीर्यवान्

ভীষ্ম বললেন—আমি এভাবেই মনে চিন্তা করেছিলাম, আর তেমনই ঘটল; মহাবলশালী ‘অসি’ (তরবারি) প্রকাশিত হল।
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores that deliberate intention and sustained reflection can bring about real-world consequences; when the object is a weapon like a sword, it implicitly warns that mental resolve toward violence can manifest powerful, far-reaching results, demanding ethical restraint and discernment.
Bhishma, speaking in the Shanti Parva, states that what he had contemplated has come to pass, and he refers to the sword as a powerful outcome—suggesting a moment where reflection leads to the emergence or deployment of a potent instrument within a broader discussion on governance, conduct, and the regulation of force.
