वृतं भूतगणैघोरि: क्रव्यादैश्व समन््ततः । यथा धन लिप्समानैर्भुत्यै्नुपतिसत्तमम्
vṛtaṃ bhūtagaṇair ghoraiḥ kravyādaiś ca samantataḥ | yathā dhana-lipsamānair bhṛtyair nṛpati-sattamam ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—ভয়ংকর ভূতগণ ও মাংসভোজী সত্তারা তাকে চারদিক থেকে ঘিরে ফেলেছিল। যেমন ধনলোভী ভৃত্যরা উৎকৃষ্ট রাজাকে ঘিরে থাকে, তেমনই তারা তাকে পরিবেষ্টন করেছিল।
संजय उवाच
