ईदृशो लोकथधर्मो<यं धात्रा निर्दिष्ट उच्यते । विनाश: सर्वभूतानां कालपर्यायमागत:
īdṛśo lokadharmo 'yaṃ dhātrā nirdiṣṭa ucyate | vināśaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ kālaparyāyam āgataḥ ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন— হে মিত্রগণ! মর্ত্যলোকের ধর্ম (নিয়ম) এমনই; বলা হয়, বিধাতাই এ বিধান স্থির করেছেন। অতএব কালের পরিক্রমায় একদিন সকল প্রাণীর বিনাশের ক্ষণ অবশ্যম্ভাবীভাবে এসে পড়ে।
