Report of the Night Raid and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Lament
संग्रामचन्द्रोदयवेगवेलं द्रोणार्णवं ज्यातलनेमिघोषम् । ये तेरुरुच्चावचशस्त्रनौभि- स्ते राजपुत्रा निहता: प्रमादात्
saṅgrāmacandrodayavegavelaṃ droṇārṇavaṃ jyātalanemighoṣam | ye terur uccāvacāśastranāubhis te rājaputrā nihatāḥ pramādāt ||
যুদ্ধ যেন চন্দ্রোদয় হয়ে দ্রোণ-সমুদ্রের বেগবান জোয়ারকে উথাল-পাথাল করেছিল; যার গর্জন ছিল জ্যাধ্বনি ও চাকার শব্দ। নানা প্রকার উচ্চ-নীচ অস্ত্রের নৌকায় যারা সেই দ্রোণ-সমুদ্র পার হয়েছিল, সেই রাজপুত্ররাই শেষে অসতর্কতায় নিহত হয়েছে।
