शशंसुर्निर्वता: सर्वे दृष्टवा कृष्णस्य विक्रमम् । बड़े-बड़े ऋषि, महात्मा ब्राह्मणों तथा महाबली भूमिपालोंने भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका वह पराक्रम देखकर अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हो उनकी स्तुति करते हुए उन्हींकी शरण ली
śaśaṃsur nirvatāḥ sarve dṛṣṭvā kṛṣṇasya vikramam |
বৈশম্পায়ন বললেন—কৃষ্ণের বিক্রম দেখে সকলেই পরম আনন্দে আপ্লুত হল। মহর্ষিগণ, মহাত্মা ব্রাহ্মণগণ এবং মহাবলী ভূ-পালগণ হৃষ্টচিত্তে তাঁকে স্তব করল এবং তাঁরই শরণ গ্রহণ করল।
