मायासभायां दुर्योधनस्य अवमान-प्रसङ्गः

शिशुरड्कसमारूढो न तत्‌ प्राप निदर्शनम्‌ इस प्रकार वह शिशु क्रमश: सहस्रों राजाओंकी गोदमें अलग-अलग रखा गया, परन्तु मृत्युसूचक लक्षण कहीं भी प्राप्त नहीं हुआ

śiśur aṅka-samārūḍho na tat prāpa nidarśanam

ভীষ্ম বললেন—শিশুটিকে একের পর এক বহু রাজার কোলে বসানো হয়েছিল, তবু পূর্বঘোষিত মৃত্যুচিহ্ন কোথাও দেখা গেল না।
