Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection
सो5हमिच्छामि तत् सर्व विधिवद् देवकीसुत । उपय क्तुं द्विजाग्रयेभ्यो हव्यवाहे च माधव,देवकीनन्दन माधव! वह सारा धन मैं विधिपूर्वक श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों तथा हव्यवाहन अग्निके उपयोगमें लाना चाहता हूँ
so ’ham icchāmi tat sarvaṃ vidhivad devakīsuta | upayoktuṃ dvijāgrebhyo havyavāhe ca mādhava ||
অতএব, হে দেবকীপুত্র মাধব! আমি সেই সমস্ত ধন বিধিপূর্বক শ্রেষ্ঠ দ্বিজদের (ব্রাহ্মণদের) দানে এবং হব্যবাহন অগ্নিতে অর্পণে নিয়োজিত করতে চাই।
