Chapter 15: Counsel on Initiative vs. Renunciation in the Rajasuya Project (सभापर्व, अध्याय १५)
भीम उवाच अनारम्भपरो राजा वल्मीक इव सीदति । दुर्बलश्षानुपायेन बलिनं योडधितिष्ठति
bhīma uvāca | anārambha-paro rājā valmīka iva sīdati | durbalaḥ śānu-pāyena balinaṃ yo ’dhitiṣṭhati ||
ভীম বললেন—হে মহারাজ! যে রাজা উদ্যোগহীন, সে উইপোকার ঢিবির মতোই ধসে পড়ে। আর যে দুর্বল হয়েও যথোচিত উপায় ও নীতি না নিয়ে বলবান প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বীর বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়ায়, সেও অবশেষে বিনাশপ্রাপ্ত হয়।
