शरं कालाग्निसंयुक्त विष्णुसोमसमायुतम् । उस समय दानव उन नगरोंकी ओर और कालाग्निसे संयुक्त एवं विष्णु तथा सोमकी शक्तिसे सम्पन्न उस बाणकी ओर भी आँख उठाकर देख न सके
śaraṃ kālāgnisaṃyuktaṃ viṣṇusomasamāyutam |
সেই সময় কালাগ্নিসংযুক্ত এবং বিষ্ণু ও সোমের শক্তিতে সমন্বিত সেই শরের তেজে দানবেরা না নগরগুলোর দিকে, না সেই দগ্ধমান ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রের দিকে—চোখ তুলে তাকাতেও পারল না।
