व्यास उवाच
The verse highlights an ethical warning: uncontrolled anger (krodha) can erase compassion and reverence, leading one to violate even sacred boundaries such as a yajña. It frames cruelty as a moral fall precipitated by rage.
Vyāsa narrates a moment of fierce aggression: a wrathful figure attacks the sacrificial rite, becomes merciless, shoots an arrow from his bow, and bellows loudly—signaling escalation and intimidation in the scene.
