Adhyāya 74 (Book 6, Bhīṣma-parva): Bhīma–Duryodhana re-engagement and afternoon escalation
समुत्पतन्ति वित्रस्ता रथेभ्यो रथिनस्तथा । सादिनश्चाश्वपृछठे भ्यो भूमी चापि पदातय:
samutpatanti vitrastā rathebhyo rathinas tathā | sādinaś cāśvapṛṣṭhebhyo bhūmīṃ cāpi padātayaḥ ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—তারা এমন ভীত হয়ে পড়ল যে রথীরা রথ থেকে লাফিয়ে পড়ে গেল; অশ্বারোহীরা ঘোড়ার পিঠ থেকে পড়ে গেল; আর পদাতিকরাও মাটিতে লুটিয়ে গড়াগড়ি খেতে লাগল।
