शक्ति विनिहतां दृष्टवा वैराटि: क्रोधमूर्च्छित:
śaktiṁ vinihatāṁ dṛṣṭvā vairāṭiḥ krodha-mūrcchitaḥ | gadāṁ jagrāha saṁhṛṣṭo bhīṣmasya nidhanaṁ prati ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—নিজের শক্তিক্ষেপ এভাবে ব্যর্থ হতে দেখে বিরাটপুত্র (শ্বেত) ক্রোধে মূর্ছিত হয়ে উঠল; উল্লাসে উদ্দীপ্ত হয়ে ভীষ্মের বধের উদ্দেশ্যে সে গদা তুলে নিল।
