Garuḍa Array and the Ardhacandra Counter-Formation
युध्यमानस्य संग्रामे व्यूढे रजसि चोत्थिते
yudhyamānasya saṅgrāme vyūḍhe rajasi cotthite | jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
সঞ্জয় বললেন—হে রাজন, যুদ্ধ যখন প্রবল হয়ে উঠল এবং ধূলির মেঘ উঠল, তখন যোদ্ধাদের শ্রেষ্ঠ ভীষ্মকে বধ করতে উদ্যত বীরেরা তাঁর ওপর ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ল; সেই সময় যুদ্ধ মহা তুমুল হয়ে উঠল। ধূলিধূসর রণাঙ্গনে কিছুই স্পষ্ট দেখা যাচ্ছিল না; কেবল ধনুকের টংকারে বোঝা যেত প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী লড়ছে, আর অনেকেই স্পর্শমাত্রে শত্রুকে চিনে নিত।
