Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
अपश्यस्त्वं तं तदा घोररूपं सर्वे वै त्वां ददृशुर्दर्शनीयम् । यस्माद् भीत: प्राञ्जलिस्त्वं महर्षि- मागच्छेथा: शरणं दानवघ्न
śakra uvāca | apaśyastvaṃ taṃ tadā ghorarūpaṃ sarve vai tvāṃ dadṛśur darśanīyam | yasmād bhītaḥ prāñjalistvaṃ maharṣi-m āgacchethāḥ śaraṇaṃ dānavaghna ||
দানবদলন দেবরাজ! তখন তুমি সেই ঘোররূপধারী দানবকে দেখেছিলে, আর সকলেই তোমার দিকেও তাকিয়েছিল—ভয়ে তোমার যে অবস্থা হয়েছিল, তা সত্যিই দেখার মতো ছিল। সেই দানবকে ভয় পেয়ে তুমি করজোড়ে মহর্ষি চ্যবনের শরণ নিয়েছিলে।
