Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच कच्चिच्छीमान् देवराज: सुखी च कच्चिच्चास्मान् प्रीयते धूमकेतो । कच्चिद्दवेवा अस्य वशे यथावत् प्रब्रृहि त्वं मम कार्त्स्न्येन देव
Marutta uvāca: kaccic chrīmān devarājaḥ sukhī ca kaccic cāsmān prīyate dhūmaketo | kaccid devā asya vaśe yathāvat prabrūhi tvaṁ mama kārtsnyena deva ||
মরুত্ত বললেন—অগ্নিদেব! শ্রীমান দেবরাজ কি সুখে আছেন? হে ধূমকেতু! তিনি কি আমাদের প্রতি প্রসন্ন? আর সকল দেবতা কি যথাযথভাবে তাঁর আদেশাধীন? দেব! এ সব কথা সম্পূর্ণ ও যথার্থভাবে আমাকে বলুন।
