Abhimanyunidhana-prakāśaḥ — Vasudeva–Kṛṣṇa–Subhadrā–Kuntī śoka-saṃvāda
Disclosure and Consolation
अकरोत् स ततः काल॑ शरतल्पगतो मुनि: । अयनं दक्षिण हित्वा सम्प्राप्ते चोत्तरायणे
akarot sa tataḥ kālaṁ śaratālpagato muniḥ | ayanaṁ dakṣiṇaṁ hitvā samprāpte cottarāyaṇe ||
বাসুদেব বললেন—তখন শরশয্যায় শায়িত সেই মুনি নিজেই প্রয়াণের ক্ষণ নির্ধারণ করলেন। সূর্যের দক্ষিণায়ন চলাকালে তিনি দেহ ত্যাগ করেননি; সেই কাল শেষ হয়ে উত্তরায়ন উপস্থিত হলে তবেই তিনি মৃত্যু গ্রহণ করলেন—ব্রতনিষ্ঠা ও কালের উপর সংযমের মহিমা প্রকাশ করে।
