असंरोधेन भूतानां वृत्तिं लिप्सेत मोक्षवित्‌ न चान्यमन्नं लिप्सेत भिक्षमाण: कथंचन

Transliteration

asaṃrodhena bhūtānāṃ vṛttiṃ lipseta mokṣavit | na cānyam annaṃ lipseta bhikṣamāṇaḥ kathaṃcana ||

Translation

বায়ু বললেন—মোক্ষপথ-জ্ঞাতা সন্ন্যাসী অন্য প্রাণীদের জীবিকায় বাধা না দিয়ে নিজের জীবিকা নির্বাহ করবে। আর ভিক্ষা করতে গেলে দাতা যে অন্ন স্বেচ্ছায় দেন, তার বাইরে অন্য কোনো অন্ন সে কোনো অবস্থাতেই কামনা করবে না।
