कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्
The Wheel of Time and the Norms of the Āśramas
देवतातिथिशिष्टाशी निरतो वेदकर्मसु । इज्याप्रदानयुक्तश्चन यथाशक्ति यथासुखम्
devatātithiśiṣṭāśī nirato vedakarmasu | ijyāpradānayuktaś ca yathāśakti yathāsukham ||
বায়ু বললেন—গৃহস্থের উচিত দেবতার উদ্দেশ্যে অর্ঘ্য-আহুতি নিবেদন করে ও অতিথিকে ভোজন করিয়ে তারপর অবশিষ্ট অন্ন নিজে গ্রহণ করা। তিনি বেদবিধিত কর্মে নিবিষ্ট থাকবেন এবং সামর্থ্য অনুযায়ী সন্তুষ্টচিত্তে যজ্ঞ ও দান করবেন।
