ब्राह्मण उवाच
This line is not a doctrinal verse but a colophon. Its function is to mark the completion of the thirty-third chapter within the Brāhmaṇa-gītā portion of the Anugītā, framing the surrounding teachings as part of the Mahābhārata’s post-war ethical and spiritual instruction.
The text is closing a chapter: it formally locates the discourse within the Aśvamedhika Parva and the Anugītā section, indicating that the brāhmaṇa’s instructional segment (Brāhmaṇa-gītās) has reached the end of its thirty-third chapter.
