जगमदग्निर्वाच स्थिरं चापि चल॑ चापि जाने त्वां ज्ञानचक्षुषा | अवश्यं विनयाधान कार्यमद्य मया तव

Transliteration

Jamadagnir uvāca: sthiraṁ cāpi calaṁ cāpi jāne tvāṁ jñānacakṣuṣā | avaśyaṁ vinayādhānaṁ kāryam adya mayā tava ||

Translation

জমদগ্নি বললেন—তোমার লক্ষ্য স্থির হোক বা চঞ্চল, জ্ঞানদৃষ্টিতে আমি তোমাকে চিনেছি—তুমি সূর্য। অতএব আজ আমি অবশ্যই তোমাকে শাসন করব, যাতে তুমি বিনয় ও সদাচারে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হও।
