Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नानाविधैश्व विहगैर्जलप्रकरसेविभि: । एकद्वारामनादेयां सूपतीर्थामकर्दमाम्
nānāvidhaiś ca vihagair jalaprakara-sevibhiḥ | ekadvārām anādeyāṃ sūpatīrthām akardamām ||
সেখানে নানা প্রকার জলাশ্রয়ী পাখি নানাবিধ কলরবে মুখর করে তার প্রাচুর্য জল পান করত। তাতে প্রবেশের একটিই দ্বার ছিল; সেখান থেকে কিছুই নেওয়া নিষিদ্ধ ছিল। স্নানের জন্য উৎকৃষ্ট ঘাট-সিঁড়ি নির্মিত ছিল, এবং তা শ্যাওলা ও কাদামাটি থেকে সম্পূর্ণ মুক্ত ছিল।
