कृत्वाग्नौकरणं पूर्व मन्त्रपूर्व तपोधन । ततो5ग्नये5थ सोमाय वरुणाय च नित्यश:

Transliteration

kṛtvāgnaukaraṇaṃ pūrvaṃ mantrapūrva tapodhana | tato 'gnaye 'tha somāya varuṇāya ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

ভীষ্ম বললেন—হে তপোধন, বৈদিক মন্ত্রোচ্চারণসহ প্রথমে অগ্নৌকরণ সম্পন্ন করে, তারপর প্রতিদিন অগ্নি, সোম ও বরুণকে বিধিপূর্বক তাঁদের নির্ধারিত অংশ অর্পণ করবে; এই ক্রমে পূজা করে ধর্মের ধারক দেবশক্তিগুলিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত রাখবে।
