Śrāddha-utpatti and Nivāpa–Agni Precedence (श्राद्धोत्पत्तिः—निवापेऽग्निपूर्वकत्वम्)
आधिपत्य॑ व्रजेन्मर्त्यो ज्येष्ठायामपवर्जयन् । नर: कुरुकुलश्रेष्ठ ऋद्धो दमपुर:सर:
ādhipatyaṁ vrajen martyo jyeṣṭhāyām apavarjayan | naraḥ kurukulaśreṣṭha ṛddho damapuraḥsaraḥ ||
কুরুকুলশ্রেষ্ঠ! জ্যেষ্ঠা নক্ষত্রে ইন্দ্রিয়সংযমসহ পিণ্ডদান করে যে ব্যক্তি শ্রাদ্ধ সম্পন্ন করে, সে সমৃদ্ধি লাভ করে এবং অধিপত্য অর্জন করে।
